5 Books For Female Founders

This probably isn't your typical business book recommendation journal post. I believe so much in business & brand building can be learnt, however a relationship with the self can not only be the most challenging to cultivate but will also be the discipline, grace & resilience you will pull from when things go south (which often happens in business). Below are 5 key books I read & have re-read not only at the beginning of my journey as an entrepreneur, but also through this ever-morphing & shape-shifting 8 year ride!
 1. Creative Visualisation - Shakti Gawain: A lot of what I experience today in our brand I manifested many, many years ago. I attribute reading this book so how vividly I am able to visualise what I desire & manifest it into reality.
2. Big Magic - Elizabeth Gilbert: I find Elizabeth's interpretation & perception of 'creativity' fascinating in this book, as she almost makes it tangible! A but read for those creatives needing a push to move forward with their creative ideas!
3. Elon Musk - Ashlee Vance: I find the stories of other founders very inspiring to read & learn more about. I love understanding how these thought-leaders made huge waves with their industry & kept innovating despite the world at times being against them.
4. The Code of the Extraordinary Mind - Vishen Lakiani: This book changed my life in more ways than one. Not only am I still using Vishen's methodology within my meditation, I also have a deeper understanding of the power & impact of my thoughts on my life.
5. The 4 Hour Work Week - Tim Ferriss: I am all about working smarter not harder, & reading this book solidified this even more for me. All about managing your time productively to maximise your output when working.
